Congratulations to our 5th year Irish Committee, Coiste na Gaeilge, who were awarded the coveted Gaelbhratach today in Gael Linn<\/p>\n

The Gaelbhratach flag is awarded to schools who promote spoken Irish among their students outside of the Irish classroom. This is a student-led scheme in which all activities and initiatives are organised by the senior student committee under the watchful eye of the coordinating teachers. This is Scoil Mhuire\u2019s 8th consecutive year to secure a Gaelbhratach\u00a0<\/p>\n

The girls also got to visit Conradh na Gaeilge and have a tour around their historic building & get an insight in the steeped history of the Irish language \ud83c\uddee\ud83c\uddea<\/p>\n

Our Coiste na Gaeilge is coordinated by Irish teacher Mr M Kerr<\/p>\n
