The <\/span>S<\/span>co<\/span>i<\/span>l<\/span> Mhuire<\/span> 1<\/span><\/span>st<\/span><\/span> year football team began their<\/span> journey playing competitively against other <\/span>secondary <\/span>schools. <\/span>On Wednesday they took on Mercy <\/span>Navan in a blitz<\/span> and<\/span> with hard work and determination all four of our teams won the majority of their matches.<\/span> There was equal<\/span> game time for all player<\/span>s to allow us to get <\/span>a glimpse of potential with the new incoming<\/span> players.<\/span> The girls wore the <\/span>Scoil<\/span> Mhuire badge for the first t<\/span>ime ever and we <\/span>couldn’t<\/span> be <\/span>any <\/span>prouder.<\/span> The blitz was held at Trim GAA, big thanks to all that helped us organize, especially our TY sports committee girls Eve, Lucy<\/span>, Chloe, Ciara, Kate, Kayden, Sophie, Blathnaid, <\/span>Claragh and Emily who managed teams. As well as Emma, Ellen, <\/span>Kate<\/span> and Mya who were our superb referees.<\/span> And a big <\/span>thanks<\/span> to <\/span>Ms.<\/span> Nugen<\/span>t and <\/span>Ms.<\/span> Nulty,<\/span> who <\/span>both <\/span>kept us all organized and <\/span>were<\/span> patient throughout every match!<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n
