We say Goodbye to Geraldine Gilsenan! After an incredible span of 48 years working in Scoil Mhuire, Geraldine is retirng from our administration staff. Of course, Geraldine is widely known and appreciated in the Trim community for her prominent role & work with Trim Drogheda Credit Union, but we too have been so fortunate here in Scoil Mhuire to call Geraldine a colleague and friend.

Geraldine attended Scoil Mhuire as a student, graduating in 1977, and returned shortly after to start working as school secretary on June 1st 1978. And she has been with us ever since! Infact, Geraldine has worked for all 4 Principals of Scoil Mhuire since our current building opened in 1969: Sister Concepta, Sister Rosalie, Jerry Kearney & Jacqueline Maher. Doesn’t that speak for itself!

We thank Geraldine for her years of service and dedication to Scoil Mhuire. Always a smile on her face, she went out of her way to ensure she could help & support staff, students and parents as best she could on a daily basis. We wish Geraldine every blessing and well-wish in her retirement
