Scoil Mhuire Gardening Club is a lunchtime club. It was established to provide our students with a space to make new friends, learn a little about gardening and to be creative citizens. Through the experience they can develop a greater sense of citizenship and caring for the environment, which will stay with them for the rest of their lives.

In May 2017 we were awarded the Pride of Place award, level 4, by Meath County Council. The only secondary school to be awarded the award and at this level. A grant of €140 was won with this award. We are very proud of our group members, staff and students alike!

The Club is also supported financially by Irish Aid Worldwide Global Schools Initiative (WWGS).
