Hard luck to both teams who worked really hard against 2 strong St. Louis Carrickmacross basketball teams.
U16 had a slow start with their scoring but worked hard from the first minute.
Despite being more than 13 points behind at one stage the girls got back to within 2 points but the game finished with a 32-28 loss. C O’Neill, S.Hyland and A. O’Shea were top scorers.
U19s played their last match of the year. Well done to all players who played on both teams. Again the team were behind for the first 2 quarters but made a good comeback and finished with a score of 30-24. Top scorers were M.O’Donohoe, E.Bermingham and A.O’Shea.
The U16s have qualified for the semi finals over the next few weeks so well done to them and to everyone who took part since September.
