On Friday 26th November, 6th Year students enjoyed a series of career talks and individual engagement with College Representatives from a range of colleges. The event was organised by the Guidance Counselling department in Scoil Mhuire as part of College Awareness Week.

Representatives from Dunboyne CFE, Drogheda IFE, the Naval Service, Sligo IT, Waterford IT, NUI Galway, Technological University of the Shannon, Technological University Dublin, DCU Fiontar and Apprenticeships Ireland all gave presentations.

The event had a relaxed atmosphere with students enjoying coffee and croissants before the talks and bagging lots of merchandise, which was there for the taking throughout the day.

Scoil Mhuire are grateful to all the speakers who travelled to Trim and are confident all the students who attended benefited from taking this time to consider the huge range of options open to them once Leaving Certificate is completed.

We hope it is the first of many such events into the future
