Hard luck to our determined U19 Basketball Team who narrowly lost out to St. Louis Secondary School, Dundalk, on Wednesday 27th November in the Regional Semi-Final. C. Durkan got them off to a great start and they were in the lead 10-4 in the first quarter. St.Louis came back into the game and outscored the U19 team 17-5 in the second quarter. Again St. Louis had a strong second half and won out 44-34. Well done to E.Thompson who had a great game and scored over 15 baskets. Hopefully our Basketball team can come back strong next year.
1st and 2nd yr Basketball has started so anyone that wants to play, keep an eye on the sports noticeboard and come along to try it out!
