Hard luck to the 2nd yr basketball team who put up a great fight yesterday against a strong St.Louis Carrickmacross in the Regional Final.
It was level heading into the last two minutes of the game but Carrickmacross got the upper hand and got some quick scores to finish the game and win 20-12.
Top scorers were S.Hyland and S.McCaffrey. It was a great team performance and everyone on the court gave it everything. L.Nugent injured herself in a previous game so we wish her a speedy recovery. The team will continue on in the All Ireland series so still have an opportunity to move forward in their games after Easter
