It was with great honour and delight that we got to celebrate and welcome back 4 of our past pupils who were on the All-Ireland Meath Ladies Senior Football Team, as well as their manager Eamon Murray.

Both students & staff were thrilled when Emma Troy, Ali Sherlock and of course captain Shauna Ennis took to the stage with the coveted cup in hand! (Unfortunately, Aisling McCabe couldn’t make it)

Everyone in Scoil Mhuire is extremely proud of what these girls and Eamon have achieved and we are so happy to get the opportunity to invite them back and celebrate their victory on our home school soil.

Special word of thanks to everyone who made today possible:

  • Darran McGoldrick MG Audio
  • Aidan Farrelly videography
  • Seamus Farrelly & Meath Chronicle
  • Impact Signs & Display Systems
  • Garda Edel Dugdale and her colleagues in Trim Garda Station for their special escort
  • Mrs Jane Lynch for the use of her convertible car
  • all staff who helped in every big & small way in preparing for today’s event
  • and of course, to Eamon, Shauna, Emma and Ali for taking the time to come visit our school.

UP THE ROYALS!
