Congratulations to the 1st yr Basketball team who have made it to the final of the North East region after a very tough game against O’Carolan College Nobber on Friday 10th March. Both teams had plenty of nerves with shooting in the opening quarter with a low score but Scoil Mhuire got some crucial scores from H.Reilly to start the game. L.McKenna was top scorer for the game and there was a lot of great team play from all the 1st yr team. Well done and the girls will now go forward to the Finals day in Carrickmacross on Wedensday 22nd March. Hopefully the 2nd yr team can join them in the finals.
