Over the February midterm break, 4 of our teachers travelled to Tampere, Finland as part of the Erasmus Teacher Shadowing Programme. Ms G Coloe, Ms E Flynn, Ms I Heffernan and Mr M Kerr were welcomed to Tampere high school, Klassillinen Lukio, where they got the opportunity to sit in on a classes, observe teachers & students, meet with school management and staff and gain a valuable insight into the Finnish education system. Teachers from the Tamper High School will now be visiting our school in April, and we look forward to showing them the high standard of education that is available in Scoil Mhuire.
