French Erasmus+ Exchange

About the French partner schoolAbout the school “Lycée Albert Châtelet” in Douane near Lille/Brussels: Contact persons: Erasmus+ coordinator is Ms Sophie Urbaniak (Deputy Principal), the legal representative is Mr Gilles Hogrel (the principal), German Erasmus+ Exchange coordinator is Ms Céline Cuviliez and Ms Emeline Morel. About the two-way Exchange Programme (financed by the EU and Léargas, the Irish National Agency)15 TY students and 2 accompanying teachers from Scoil Mhuire will be partnered with 15 French students aged 16, via email and in person. Dates/weeks for the Mobilities in France= Monday the 12th of February 2024 until Sunday the 18th of February 2024; in Ireland= Monday the 15th of April 2024 until Sunday the 21st of April 2024. The selection criteria and the programme for both weeks of the exchanges will be explained to students-applicants/participants.

German Erasmus+ Exchange

Erasmus+ EU Job-Shadowing Programme for staff

15 staff members can participate in the Erasmus+ job-shadowing programme, where teachers/staff in groups of 3 can stay for 5 days at the European partner school. Learning targets and Erasmus+ Participation forms are required from all participating staff members. Here is the list of our European Partner School (subject to change). We have the following 4 weeks in the academic year 2023/24 that are suitable for job-shadowing for Scoil Mhuire staff:

  1. October mid-term = Monday the 30th of October 2023 until Friday the 3rd of November 2023.
  2. February mid-term = Monday the 12th of February 2024 until Friday the 16th of February 2024.
  3. Last week of May 2024 (Monday to Friday)
  4. First week of June 2024 (Monday to Friday)
