Scoil Mhuire Gardening Club is a lunchtime club. It was established to provide our students with a space to make new friends, learn a little about gardening and to be creative citizens. Through the experience they can develop a greater sense of citizenship and caring for the environment, which will stay with them for the rest of their lives.
The gardening club focusses on learning how to produce edible plants , herbs and vegetables which can be grown in a small space and teaches the importance of food sustainability as well as growing flowers and bulbs which can enhance the school grounds.
