Scoil Mhuire’s U16 and U19 basketball teams played a match each on Tuesday 15th October against St. Peter’s College, Dunboyne. The U16 team played very well against a strong side, but were unfortunately beaten. The final score was 36-22 to Dunboyne. The top scorers were C. Durkan and K. Cassidy.
The U19 team played extremely well against a very strong team and were well-deserved winners. The final score was 30-22 to Scoil Mhuire. E. Thompson was the top scorer while S. Clarke, A. Corcoran and S. Corcoran put in notable performances.
Both teams represented their school excellently and are looking forward to their next match against O’Carolan College on Monday 4th November.
