Sixty years ago, on September 24th 1963, Sr Regina O Reilly entered religious life as a young novice with the Sisters of Mercy in Rochfordbridge, Co Westmeath where she had completed her secondary education.
Many years later in 1982, Sr Regina joined the staff of Scoil Mhuire to set up the Career Guidance Department. She remained in Scoil Mhuire until her retirement in 2010. Many students benefitted from her support and guidance over the year.
Sr Regina`s sixty years contribution to education as a Mercy sister was acknowledged by the Scoil Mhuire community at their opening of the year Mass on September 19th
