Well done to the 2nd yr basketball team who had a great win over Ballybay Community College last Wednesday 1st March. The final score was 22-8 with another good team performance. We had some good shooting again by L.McKenna from 1st year and E.Murray and E.Hanley. The girls will go on to play a semi final over the next two weeks and hopefully it will be the second year in a row to reach the finals of the North East region. 1st years will play their quarter final next Tuesday so best of luck to them when they play Bush Post Primary Dundalk.
Well done also to the 1st yr basketball team who had another great win over Bush PP Dundalk on Tuesday 7th May in the quarter finals of the North East Region. They are now going on to play in the semi-final on Friday against O’Carolan College, Nobber. 1st and 2nd yrs have made it to the semi-finals of the competition which is a great achievement so hopefully both teams will keep working hard and make it to the final in 2 weeks time.
