Scoil Mhuire hosted the French singer Caroline Moreau on Monday 8th May. She travels around Ireland doing French singing workshops and it was the first time she has come to Scoil Mhuire. The songs were practised in advance by the 3 teachers Ms E Doherty, Ms Breheny and Ms Kane with 1st to 5th yrs and the soloists were picked in advance and did some great practice. On the day Caroline practised some different rhythms and the girls were excellent at getting involved. The soloists in each of the year groups impressed Caroline and thank you to all those who participated. We hope all the students enjoyed the workshops as they got to hear some authentic French songs and improved on their accents and their singing. Bravo!
