The fifth year Erasmus group along with John Reidy and Colin Stobie travelled to Germany for the final trip of the project early on St. Patrick’s Day. The girls spent the week finalising details on their “Real vs Fake” exhibition in Zollern Colliery in Dortmund. Working closely with Museum Curators and Designers, they successfully completed their project for the opening ceremony on the 22nd March. They presented their exhibit to news reporters and to journalists of German newspapers to promote the exhibition. Along with students from Germany and Poland, they took part in many bonding games and activities. They took trips to Dortmund city and Düsseldorf. The students that took part in this trip were: Nadine Callan, Rachel Carroll, Shauna Dempsey, Alana Fahey, Roisin Fahey, Lauren Kenny, Laura Martin, Aisling Mcguinness and Emily Walsh. They all gained new experiences, skills and lifelong friends.
