A Gluais Reunion was held in school on Saturday evening and it was our pleasure to welcome back so many former band members and students. A real trip down memory lane, photos and videos over the past 13 years were displayed and enjoyed while everyone reminisced and recalled memories and stories of their times in the band. Former students delighted in returning to the school and being in the company of old friends and familiar faces, remembering the good times of Scoil Mhuire & Gluais.
A presentation was also made to music teacher Mr Mícheál Kerr, who recently stepped back as musical director of Gluais, to acknowledge all his work over the past 13 years. We look forward to the next chapter and what the future holds for trad music, singing & Irish dancing in Scoil Mhuire.
